NaKaisha Tolbert-Banks serves as Chief Executive Officer of D.U.O. EmpowerMEnt Services. She provides professional counseling and life coaching services. She also educates the community through various educational trainings and speaking opportunities on multiple aspects of mental health, health, and wellness. She is a licensed clinical social worker and a master addictions counselor.

Ms. Tolbert-Banks earned a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University. She served as the Mental Health Chair and a member of the Indiana Disproportionality Committee. She is an active board member and chair of the Indiana Center for Children and Families. She also is a member of the Indiana Minority Health Partners Coalition.

Ms. Tolbert-Banks is an active member of the Great Lakes Regional Health Equity Council (Region V) and co-chair of its Retention and Recruitment Committee. She currently serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Cincinnati and previously served as adjunct faculty for Indiana University’s School of Social Work.
