Jagdish Khubchandani began his career at Ball State University (BSU) in 2010. His current position is Associate Professor of Community Health. His previous role was as a faculty fellow for the BSU Global Health Institute and Center for International Development. His research interests are in the fields of clinical and social epidemiology as well as community and global health. He has received doctoral degrees in clinical medicine and health education.

Dr. Khubchandani has been awarded research funding from federal/state governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations. Over the past five years, his research has led to publications of more than 60 peer-reviewed articles in over 24 prestigious scientific journals and more than 75 conference presentations. He currently serves as an associate editor and editorial board member for nine different scientific journals in the fields of public health and medicine. He is a member of the World Association of Medical Editors that specializes in scientific writing. His research recently was featured in reports by several national and international media outlets: Fox News, U.S. News and World Report, CNBC, Yahoo News, Huffington Post, and the Chicago Tribune,

Dr. Khubchandani was the recipient of the Indiana Governor’s Service Learning Award (2012), Hurley Goodall Distinguished Faculty Award (2012), and BSU Outstanding Junior Faculty Award (2014).
